UK Staycations - There's No Place Like Home

As we begin to navigate our way towards the 'new normal' it is clear that a UK break is becoming more and more popular across the country. We all know the beauty that awaits without having to board a flight. Some of the greatest landscapes, beautiful beaches and hidden gems, can be found on our very own door step. So is this the year for staycations?

Whether you are looking for rugged coast lines, a quaint rural village or a holiday park with plenty for the kids to enjoy, the UK has it all. I have personally learned a lot about holidaying in the UK in recent weeks and if I have learned one thing, it's that there is a UK getaway out there for everyone.

In terms of accommodation options, there is a wide variety on offer. Woodland Lodges, small cottages and caravans to name just a few. Whether you are seeking a romantic getaway in a luxury boutique hotel or a private lodge with hot tub or you may be a family looking for a lively, cheesy and frankly remarkably enjoyable caravan park, you'll find accommodation options at both ends of the spectrum.

The UK's landscape is dramatic, beautiful and in parts, breath-taking. Cornwall for example has beaches as beautiful as those found in the majority of European destinations. Scotland has some of the most stunning mountainous terrains I have ever known. We have vibrant cities in London, Manchester and Edinburgh to name a few. We have some of the most beautiful countryside and national parks in the world. All of this, on our very own doorstep. How lucky we are!

So, is this the year for staycations? Let's make every year the year for staycations! Our country is beautiful and waiting to be explored. A famous quote by the Dalai Lama 'Once a year, go some place that you have never been before'. Why not make that 'place', the UK.

As always, if you would like me to check availability, recommend or answer any questions that you may have surrounding your next staycation, please do get in touch - I would love to hear from you.
